How does a woman get engaged and calls it off 48 hours after? Ok listen, i'll tell you a quick one.
...Am friends with an estranged couple who both hail from the eastern part of Nigeria. The duo are separated by both time and space but managed to piece a relationship together over the internet and electronic media generally. Information reaching me shows that the couple were schoolmates in their University days, though the guy happens to be three years older than the lady. Months went by and the duo got attached and chose to take their relationship to the next level. They started getting acquainted with eachother's family and decided to meet to discuss a more permanent relationship. The lady, i gathered didn't exactly feel sure about the intended union so decided to keep crossed fingers. The bubble burst on the guy's arrival to the lady's family house. Did i forget to describe him on sight? I sure did. Ok here it goes. He is about 5 feet 5 inches tall, dark complexion and a typical example of a man from eastern Nigeria both in speech and body build. I would say though that he has a good heart, is intelligent and has a strange sense of humour. Believe me, he traveled about eight hours to be with her and her family but got the shocker of his life 48 hours after his proposal. ...Very early that morning, she steps into his room, expected to meet him with regular morning greetings but it was not to be as he was met with the "am sorry i can't see this through line". The guy is stunned and laughs, saying you have a very funny way of joking around. What do you mean by that? She goes "am serious, please don't take this for a joke". Sinking into his subconscious, the guy breaks down in tears and begins to beg. Her mind is made up. No going back. He is presented the engagement band in return and his dreams fall apart. He comes crashing with no words to explain what had befallen him. I can imagine you know the rest of the story because he hasn't recovered till date. My question now is what makes a woman who is meant to be in love and who wholeheartedly accepted a proposal suddenly change her mind? I honestly feel sorry for him, trust me!

She should have thought it up before accepting the proposal. I also believe that there is more to this than meet the eye. You aint telling us what the missing link is
