MEXY'S PLACE

So am peeping into the dairy of a sleeping lady (big deal?) and am seeing that 292 persons have tested positive to HIV virus in Ido-Osi local government area of Ekiti State (source: NigeriaNewsdesk). My worry would be that the virus is still on rampant and rapid spread irrespective of campaigns here and there. Permit me to ask, is it that people are not convinced about its existence so continue to leave carelessly? Is the problem that of ignorance? I bleed when I get news like this. We claim that the world population is teaming but we fail to aknowledge its dwindling number. HIV/AIDS is fast taking away vibrant young people and believe me, no one knows how far it would go. I'll tell you a quick one. A friend of my sister (during their service year) lived with us. She was so nice that I would have done anything to keep her fine. She took ill so often that she travel home at some point for treatment. A series of tests were carried out on her and she was diagnosed with HIV. We all go

...As I was saying, Funmi begans making calls to the publishing outfit (a popular newspaper in Ngeria - name witheld), only to discover that the template had not been handed to the advert executives. Finally, she reaches her boss. Guess what she is told (in very riotous voice) "I have sent it to the director". Lobatan! The oufit has no director in the state in qestion. Where then is the template? Would it be published on Monday? If it doesn't get published what is Funmi's fate in the establishment as it is a very important document?...please keep fingers crossed as her ordeal unfolds. Personally, I smell a rat. Didnt say a thing anyway. 'Fill you in in 72hours. Cheers!       

...Seated at her desk at work, a call comes through about a publication for Monday morning and all hell breaks loose. Guess what? The boss had the template delivered to another media outfit (its Friday and time is fast ticking away). The template is kind of unretriveable at the moment cause the boss is unavailable. The publication is time bound and Funmi is spell bound  in fear, pacing, yelling and making calls to resolve the situation...oops gotta go. Duty calls. to be continued...
