Funmi's Dilema

Guess you remember Funmi? It's her dairy you have been reading from you know? Ok...so she is caught in a web. Planning to settle with one and still in love with another, Funmi considers her life in its present state and realizes that its possibly coming to a "dramatic" end.

Fun Fun as she is fondly called had spent the last two years of her life adoring and waiting on someone guy she hoped could be the love of her life and her potential husband. It turns out that this handsome, well dressed and tasteful guy who claims to like her so much and respect her won't even give an obvious clue to exactly what is on his mind.

The generous and kind Funmi who had over time been put in the "friends zone" by the much revered guy is found cooking his meals, cleaning after him and of course watching his back, even to the dismay of friends and family. She is sooner than later confronted with news of his business with other women. Tactically, she investigates, he  denies, yet reviled by actions, comments and side talks by close associates. She is indifferent and hopes for a change, but it wasn't to be. Much as they shared occasional gifts, outings and visits, Funmi's much treasured icon would never acknowledge her or go out of his way to do a thing for her except he was doing it out of convenience.
...Let me even quickly ask, where does a man say to a woman that he wants to be with her but has to go clean up his closet (closet of bed mates as he called them) before returning to her? Those were his words to her. So she waited and waited and waited for him to declare his clean closet to no avail.

While she is waiting, an exciting young man comes around and she is swept off her feet. Hard as she tries to resist, his charm won't let go. So slowly and gently, Funmi gets hooked. Everyone seems to be excited for her but for Funmi herself. She suddenly realizes that what she feels for the other guy won't just fade and she is about to get permanently hooked to another. To worsen it, the first guy is currently in her face with tales of "i miss u", songs that spell out his feelings of ... and lately a gift of diamonds from out of the blues. A confused Funmi is now stuck between the two guys as her heart yearns for the supposed unreachable who promises to change while reality propels her to reach out to the other.

I can't exactly say i know how she feels, but the much i guess is that she must need clear and truthful advices now. Your two cent advice would do now... Messy details follow soon. Watch out!
